Waiata: Wai o te rangi (‘Water of the Sky’)
Katherine Winitana and Ashleigh Berryman, written for Te Pae Kōkako - The Aotearoa New Zealand Opera Studio (TANZOS)

Written to depict the cycle of water falling from the skies to feed the land, then flowing out to the seas and rising again to the skies, this waiata describes the cycle of giving of aroha (love), support (āwhina) and wairua (spirit) of our kaupapa through shared knowledge and love for what we do.
